World Vision Australia - worldvision.com.au

World Vision is an international community development organisation that assists more than 100 million people worldwide. For more than 50 years, World Vision has been working to eliminate poverty and its causes. We are a Christian organisation and collaborate with people of all cultures, faiths and genders to transform the lives of children and their communities. We do this through relief and development, policy advocacy and change, education about poverty, emphasis on personal growth, social justice and spiritual values. Our work is made possible by the support of generous Australians, and we work hard to make sure all resources are used as effectively as possible to benefit children in need.

World Vision recognises that the Thriving Communities Partnership (TCP) will help everyone to have equal access to the modern essential services that we all need to thrive in contemporary Australia.

This initiative will build more resilient communities, and ease the hardship, vulnerability and disadvantage experienced by some groups trying to access essential amenities. As a child-centred organisation, World Vision believes that TCP will help many Australian children and their families. Fair access to services frees people to become more self-reliant, and make their contribution to the wider community.
